Lets Get Physical...

Worked with head strength and conditioning coach Kyle Gilbert to create fitness plans for staff and students. When creating the programming we put a strong emphasis on making the workouts extremely basic. We also figured that we could potentially tailor workouts for people that have varying levels of fitness. The programs can eventually vary but this program in particular targets beginners and developing a baseline of strength and begin putting on lean muscle. The rep range of 8-12 are heterotrophic meaning they promote lean muscle mass. This program will be a microcyle meaning lasting 4-6 weeks. After 4-6 weeks training the same muscles the same rep range will cause for plateauing. After that microcycle we will try to do some strength training and also attempt to find a safe one rep max for participants so that we can work percentages in further programming.
